Abstract

The design of a steam generator constructed on the basis of a pulse combustion apparatus equipped with a swirl combustion chamber and an aerodynamic valve is described, and results of its experimental investigation are presented. The quantity of nitrogen oxide emissions is estimated. A schematic arrangement for practical application of such an apparatus is proposed.
