Abstract
This experimental work has been performed in Paraffin wax-phase change materials (P) by analysis of new design for single distiller (SS) tested then verified in P with a mixture of the Ag nanoparticles (A) in Ricinus Communis leaves extracts (RC) to find out which new design of SS performed better at the challenging site is the main objectives. An effect of SS in a water basin was elevated with performance to comparing the CSS. Additionally, the with and without mixing of PCM/Ag/Ricinus Communis (PARC) was employed in the basin of SS, and CSS results indicated the productivity rise/thermal efficiency of 28.5%/38.3% (PRC), 66%/44% (ARC), and 96.5%/48.5% (PARC), respectively. The yield and thermal efficiency were measured at approximately 116.4% and 51.5%, respectively, for the samples (PARC) obtained from the basin areas with (SS) and without (CSS). Finally, the average new SS productivity rise/thermal efficiency for PARC with basin area is showed the highest values of 124.2%/52%. An environmental and economic analysis of SS has been considered and achieved in distillery nature water with budgets were 00.024, then 00.019 $/litter a conventional solar still (without) SS (with) PARC, respectively. The environmental parameters of SS (6.67 tons) and CSS (14.7 tons) used with and without PARC have considered with a CO2 per annual, individually.
