Abstract

It is demonstrated that the conjunction of Bell's argument with a supplementary assumption makes the existing cascade photon experiments applicable as a test of local hidden-variable theories. Since this supplementary assumption is weaker and more general than the supplementary assumption of Clauser, Horne, Shimony, and Holt (CHSH), an experiment based on this assumption refutes a considerably larger family of hidden-variable theories than the previous experiments based on the CHSH assumption.
