Abstract

Some possible approaches to determine the order parameter in unconventional superconductors are reviewed. Two such approaches, neutron scattering and experiments which take advantage of the coupling of the order parameter to the lattice, are discussed in detail. These two methods have the advantage of reflecting possible anisotropy directly. Neutron scattering can also distinguish between p-wave and d-wave superconductivity.
