Abstract

AbstractThe goals, experience, specifics and problems of experimental gardening in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YNAO) in the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) are considered. The project, developed and implemented in September 2021, is in line with research activities and experiments on planting “high latitudes”, which has been taking place since 2012 in the seven largest settlements of YNAO. In the village of Yar-Sale, experiments on decorative landscaping have been carried out since 2019. The project has developed a solution for landscaping the front part of the territory of the new building of the Vasily Davydov Boarding School in the village of Yar-Sale. The article presents a list of planting material, the specifics of the object and the features of the use of green spaces in the YNAO are described. The tasks are set for further research and scientific-practical activities.
