Abstract
A quantitative interpretation of the C KVV Auger lineshape provides experimental evidence for antiferromagnetic spin ordering within the π-bonded chain model on the (111) - (2 × 1) surface of diamond. An initial state electron correlation model is utilized to quantitatively interpret the Auger lineshape.
