Abstract

The self-absorption correction factor for molybdenum (Mo) have been measured with a photon excited x-ray spectrometer. A comparison is made of the experimental results with the calculated values obtained by using the theoretical x-ray fluorescence intensity. The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical values.
