Abstract

The experimental determination of response time of the multipoint electro-optical system for flame detection and determination of its spatial coordinates (EOS) is described. The experimental unit and technique of experimentation for EOS response time determination are developed. The EOS response time was defined by measurement of time frame between emergence of flame in detection zone and the emergence moment of start signal for the fire-extinguishing means. Results of researches in the form of 10 experimental explosions are given. It is established that the response time of system is At = 14±1.4 ms and meets the established requirements.
