Abstract

The interfacial bond strength between carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP) and concrete is a very important factor for the strengthening effect of CFRP. According to the test, the change law of shear stress and the damage process of epoxy bond are investigated under static and fatigue load in the paper. At the same time, the analytical calculation models of interfacial shear stress and strain at arbitrary points are established, therefore the static and fatigue bond strength can be calculated by the analytical models. Contrasting analysis indicates that the results of calculation models coincide with the tests, which shows that the results of analytical models are favorable. Moreover the model can also be used to analyze and predict the interfacial stress of the composite structure. It is also applicable for the other composite structures, which suggests that this method possesses practical significance for the reliability analysis of the interfacial bond strength.
