Abstract

In this article by the East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, a test model with the new engine mount concept is introduced — the adaptive elastomeric mount. A great deal of experimental analysis is accomplished with this model. It is concluded, that the numerical and experimental results are consistent with each other. It is also demonstrated, that the new adaptive elastomeric mount improves drive comfort in comparison to the classical elastomeric mount clearly and to the hydraulic mount in some frequency range.
