Abstract

The Composite rotor blade system operates n a highly dynamic and unsteady environment condition leading to severe vibratory loads. These blades exhibit various competing modes of damage such as delamination and matrix cracking. There is a need to study the behavior of the Composite rotor blade system under various key undamaged modes, as this will be able to predict from experimental measured data.SHMplays an important role in the case of the ageing Composite Rotor Blade. The current study is focusedon the experimental studyand their effects on thebehavior of a composite rotor blade system.
