Abstract
Nowadays, more emphasis is going on the utilization of the solar and its applications to the rural area. Keeping this in mind, this study focused on the usage of solar energy. In this study, packed bed regenerator is used for the heating purpose. This type of generator is charged by having sun light during the daytime, the charged energy then used during the nighttime. Air is passed through the generator and is used for the heating purpose. Mass flow rate also largely effect the charging and discharging time.
