Abstract

A thesis in motion started at the confluence of care, creation and creativity, and, in front of the production of the data, marked by the encounter with the sensibility. Based on the assumption that by means of aesthetic experiments with the body, nurses can intensify modes of existence in caring, envisioning new possibilities for professional action, culminated in the thesis that the power of nursing care in mental health developed in the hospital context, consistent with the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform, finds anchoring in the process of creation and sensitization of nurses from concrete situations of daily care. The object investigated was the potency of the nurses' body when taking care of the people hospitalized in the psychiatric hospital, anchored in the following guiding questions: in what way can the mental health nurse potentialize her professional action within the psychiatric hospital from aesthetic experiments with your own body? How do nurses develop their creativity in the process of caring for people in the psychiatric hospital? In what circumstances are the knowledge and actions of nurses working in a psychiatric hospital guided by the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform? The general objective: to understand the creative power of the nurse to care in the context of the psychiatric hospital taking as a poetic provocation the aesthetic experiments with the body. Specific objectives: to explore the creative potential of the nurse-person meeting hospitalized in the context of the psychiatric hospital; to present the intensities about the process of care in mental health in the hospital environment, promoted in nurses from aesthetic experiments; demonstrate how permanent education with a sociopoetical basis can contribute to the innovation / enhancement of the creative act of the nurse in caring for the person in psychic suffering hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital. This is a qualitative study of Sociopoetic approach. The requirements of researches with human beings were fulfilled with approval in the Committee of Ethics and Research of the Hospital Universitario Antonio Pedro under opinion no 1.852.686. The data were produced from artistic techniques with the researcher group - consisting of seven nursing assistants from a psychiatric institution in the city of Rio de Janeiro, analyzed by the researcher group itself and interpreted in the light of Goffman, Colliere, Ostrower, Boal and Spinoza - thus producing a polyphony between the concepts of stigma, care, creation, theatricality and power of the encounter. The results referred to the urgency of sensory encounters, revealed a care partially consonant with the principles of the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform and revealed the power to act in the perspective of the psychosocial attention oriented by aesthetic experiments with the body. Presented in three categories pointed out by Colliere: 1) The power to be reduced in the care; 2) The power to mobilize in care: the challenge of moving out; 3) The power to develop in care. It is concluded that the mental health nurse can enhance her professional activity within the psychiatric hospital from aesthetic experiments with her own body, and such sensitization / enlargement can occur through a permanent education based on sociopoetics
