Abstract

According to the mathematical expression of temperature in the ceramic ball regenerative heat exchanger, the characteristic expression of the temperature in honeycomb ceramic regenerative heat exchanger is educed by analogism. Thus a theoretical basis is given for the establishment of optimum design method, the further research and the evaluation of thermal behavior in honeycomb ceramic regenerative heat exchanger. And a high temperature experiment of honeycomb ceramic regenerative heat exchanger was tested, quantitative research is made on the characteristic relations between heat exchange efficiency and structure, thermal exchange efficiency and operation parameter of the heat exchanger. The results show that the experimental findings are accurate and reliable, is corresponded with the result of theory analysis. It gives experimental basis to the thermal performance analysis of honeycomb ceramic regenerative heat exchanger and the further theoretical research.
