Abstract

The experiment and performance analysis of wind turbine type Northwind 100 in Case Western Reserve University (CASE) has been studied in this paper. The parameters such as wind speed, temperature and data quantity, current in each phase, voltage of each phase, frequency and output power of the turbine are considered in the experimental analysis. The relationships between wind speed, temperature, data quantity and output turbine power are discussed in detail. The analysis results show that the relationship between wind speed and output power of the wind turbine is direct proportion. The temperature has less influence on the output power. The relationship between data quantity and output power precision is direct proportion. All these results are correct compared to the theoretical analysis and factory power curve.
