Abstract
This paper relates our experiences in learning Ada using Ada/Ed and presents a problem in its various stages of development and solution. The major focus of our efforts centered on the use of Ada tasking facilities and the conversion of the final solution into a generic package. Multiplication of square matrices was selected as the basis for our study, since the calculation of inner products (row X column) provided an excellent opportunity for using tasks.
