Experiences from an e-mobility project in a local power grid with redox-flow energy storage system. Project report

Abstract

The presented project report will show the problems and synergy effects between the rising of electric mobility and renewable energies on a local power grid. The implemented redox flow storage system was used to balance the local energy production and requirement. All investigations and experiments of electric vehicles and the local grid were performed under real-life conditions and stored in a database. The focus of this study was to improve the degree of self-sufficiency and energy efficiency.
