Abstract

A graduate‐level course in Neural Networks is described. The course is offered jointly to both cognitive science and computer science students. Both the formal coursework and laboratory components of the course are described. Experience with using public domain neural network software packages is also included. This should prove of interest to fellow academics in institutions with limited budgets at their disposal‐‐much can in fact be achieved with very little.
