Abstract
Aims: The need for quality assurance and its statistical background has gained widespread acceptance. This article is to share the experience with an extended quality management protocol including a comprehensive on-time-database, perioperative cumulative sum analysis of major complications (CUSUSM) and yearly follow-up for all patients who received minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass grafting (MIDCAB) at our institution.
