Abstract
In the context of decentralization and the increasing role of civil society artistic practices reveal the creative potential of communities and create a creative field for dialogue in society. In the article the deployment art practices in urban spaces in the United States, the basic paradigm-stage phenomenon of public art and specific initiatives in the space of modern Ukraine. During the operation revealed that the deployment of artistic practices are very suitable spaces abandoned historic industrial facilities. In this aspect was investigated examples in Zaporozhye, Poltava and Slavyansk. As the result there were revealed that artistic practice is an effective tool for creating a positive experience for dialogue in the city.
