Abstract

Background and Objectives: Oral tumour resection is associated with disfigurement and dysfunction. In order to avoid these disadvantages, instead of resection superselective intra-arterial infusion of cisplatin (CDDP) and docetaxel with concurrent delivery of external beam radiotherapy was administered to previously untreated 10 cases of oral cancer (9 cases of oral squamous cell carcinoma and one case of oral mucoepidermoid carcinoma). It was aim to elucidate the therapeutic effect in the primary tumour and neck node metastasis, as well as problems during treatment.
