Abstract

The results of the study of the experience of professional training of sewing professionals in countries where the garment industry has historically developed, in particular China, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Vietnam, demonstrate readiness to transition from low-skilled labor to highly productive and competitive activities thanks to public-private partnership (hereinafter PPP). In the global textile and apparel industry, stakeholders have long entered into partnerships to create business opportunities. The positive experience of economically developed countries can be useful for the domestic system of professional training of qualified workers with a high level of professional competence.
