Abstract

Review question/objective The objective of this systematic review is to identify, appraise and synthesize qualitative evidence on the common meanings and shared experiences of caregivers looking after patients receiving chemotherapy for lung cancer. Inclusion criteria Types of participants People who provide unpaid care to patients receiving chemotherapy for lung cancer. This is likely to include a patient's spouse, family, friends and community. Types of intervention(s)/phenomena of interest Delivery of home-based care by informal carers of patients receiving chemotherapy for lung cancer. Types of outcomes Outcomes of interest are experiential accounts of informal caregivers.
