Abstract

The possibility for using drain rings made of electrode graphite in the manufacture of high-temperature castings is shown. Comparative studies of drain rings made of ZhS6U (ZhS6K), VKh4L, VKNA2M alloys and electrode graphite is carried out. It is noted that graphite rings have all the necessary requirements for drain rings, along with increased heat resistance compared to the widely used in the production of drain rings made of high-temperature alloys.
