Abstract

The article presents a theoretical analysis of the problem of the development of creative giftedness in preschoolers with developmental disabilities. The author also presents the experience of scientific research on the level of development of creative abilities in children with special educational needs and puts a perspective – the creation of its own model for the development of creative abilities in preschoolers. Currently, there is a growing interest in solving the problem of teaching gifted children with disabilities. Abilities and learning problems may be present in the same child. The author examines these aspects through the characteristics of gifted children with disabilities, reveals the concept of “children with double exclusivityˮ, considers the conditions for the development of creative giftedness in children with disabilities.
