Abstract

Constructive relationships between adolescents and their parents can serve as a resource for adaptation to changes in the level of education: the transition of students from general education (school) to secondary vocational education (technical school, college). The authors analyze the expectations of students of secondary vocational education about communication with parents and, based on this analysis, identify a structural model of students’ expectations. The purpose of the article is to determine the participants’ expectations about their interaction with their parents. The study involved 524 students of secondary vocational education in Ekaterinburg. Students of secondary vocational education were asked to complete a survey using the Google form service. Using the cluster analysis method, 6 clusters were identified, each of which includes certain word forms. The authors describe clusters that are included in the structural model of expectations of students of secondary vocational education from interaction with parents. On the basis of this structural model, it is proposed to draw up a program for increasing the level of communicative culture, directed at interpersonal relations in the family.
