Abstract

Using as a basis Kuhn's theory of the structure of scientific revolutions, and the paradoxes and post-modernity of Lyotard, the article explores the impacts of cyberspace on map libraries in Europe. Special attention is paid to how this may affect cartographic expression, and to the potential use of digital data in map libraries.
