Abstract
Review of the book Memory of World War II beyond Europe (Russian-language edition). St. Petersburg: European University at Saint-Petersburg, 2022 – 264 p. In discussions about the degree of admissibility of various understandings of the causes, course and results of World War II, interpretations that differ from Western views may not necessarily be close to the Russian ones. For example, there may develop the discourse of a country-victim of all the major powers that participated in that war.
