Abstract
We investigate semi-classical Hawking radiation of the BTZ black hole under the generalized uncertainty principle modified with the Zitterbewegung’ particles and argue quantum gravity effects to the modified thermodynamics. We find that the BTZ black hole can have critical behavior, but exotic critical behavior, similar to the van der Waals fluid, and also find the critical compression factor is higher than its universal value. Locally stable/unstable regions can exist maintaining the global stability.
