Abstract

Exogenous administration of growth hormone to animals has been shown to affect a variety of physiological processes including growth and lactation. Also, endogenous production of growth hormone in transgenic animals has been reported to alter animal growth and metabolism. In this report, we will review some of the physiological effects of endogenous and exogenous growth hormone in animals.
