Abstract
This paper deals with the generalized Swift-Hohenberg equation, proposed by Stoop et al. (2015), on the symmetry-breaking model that describes wrinkling morphology and pattern selection in curved elastic bilayer materials. More precisely, with help of the Mountain Pass theorem, we establish the existence of nontrivial periodic solutions to this equation.
