Abstract
The eastern territory of the neighboring state of Ukraine is currently under heavy fighting. An undesirable phenomenon has taken shape that leaves shocking marks. Unfortunately, some third parties also participate in this scourge, i.e. mercenaries wearing uniforms. The external appearance of the mercenaries is highlighted by the badges that prove their belonging to a certain category of people. In this context, we aim to elucidate the appearance and content of the mercenaries’ badges related to the degree of intellectual protection, in particular to see if it exists.
