Abstract

We consider the singular periodic boundary value problem for the second order scalar differential equation x″=f(t,x,x′). Under the assumption that f has the repulsive singularity at x=0+, we present sufficient conditions for the existence of at least two different positive solutions of the problem. We use the lower and upper solutions method here.
