Abstract
We consider the existence of solutions of a second-order semilinear elliptic boundary value problem with Dirichlet boundary condition, - Δ u = b 1 [ ( u + 1 ) + - 1 ] + b 2 u + in Ω , where Ω is a bounded open set in R N with smooth boundary ∂ Ω . We investigate them in four regions of ( b 1 , b 2 ).
