Abstract
Sufficient conditions are obtained that guarantee the existence of at least two positive solutions for the p -Laplacian difference equation △ [ ϕ p ( △ u ( t − 1 ) ) ] + a ( t ) f ( u ( t ) ) = 0 subject to boundary conditions by a simple application of a new fixed point theorem due to Avery and Henderson.
