Abstract

In this paper, we study the existence of positive solutions for the p(x)-Laplacian equation based on the Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem on the cone. Our efforts mainly center on the establishment of the global C1,α estimates on bounded weak solutions and the Harnack inequality which, together with the blow-up argument and Liouville type theorem, plays a key role in the a priori estimates.
