Abstract

The purpose of this study is to guarantee the existence of aperiodic time-dependent solutions in an optimal economic growth model. It is proved that endogenous oscillations may appear when stability is lost by virtue of two pairs of complex conjugate eigenvalues of the linearized system simultaneously crossing the imaginary axis.
