Abstract

RATIONALE: Quality of life (QOL) is a crucial issue in the management of chronic asthma, usually evaluated through well validated but time-consuming questionnaires. So far, there is no objective marker of asthma related QOL (AQOL). Therefore, we evaluated the ability of exhaled nitric oxide (eNO), a marker of airway inflammation, to detect a change in AQOL.
