Abstract

This study aims to know the executive functions that distinguishes between students with autism spectrum disorder, students with mild mental disabilities and students with disabilities learning difficulties, and the number of the individuals in this study are (100) students with autism spectrum disorder,(100) students with a slight intellectual disability, (100) students with learning difficulties ,their ages ranged between (11-17) years distributed to private schools and private centers in the city of Amman.
 To answer the study questions, two researchers applied executive jobs rating scale (BRIEF,2) which is a scale in the form of a battery based normal parameter or the special education teacher fills it out. The scale consists of (56) clause distributed over 8 dimensions, and it was extracted implications of validity of metrics by content approval using the validity of the arbitrators and the indications of stability by the method of return and by the method of internal consistency using the Cronobach equation Alpha.
 The study indicated the overall average of the total score for the executive functions scale for students with learning disability was average with a mean of (2.73), arithmetic average for all dimensions were a plane average. The results also indicated that there are apparent differences between arithmetic averages of students' grades on a scale of executive functions depending on the type of disorder (students with mild mental disability and spectrum disorder autism and learning difficulties) as average arithmetic for students with mild mental disability (2.73) , the arithmetic mean of students with autism spectrum disorder (2.95),as well.
 The study indicated significant differences statistical dimensions of the executive function scale depending for the type of turmoil, at which WelixLambada reached its peak (.495) and with significance (. 000).
