Abstract

A simple Monte Carlo procedure is presented for the calculation of exclusive distributions of off-shell quanta of finite mass Q 0 within QCD jets, in the leading logarithm tree-like approximation. The resulting Monte Carlo cascade can be used as the first stage in an event simulation program of QCD for electron-positron annihilation. For this sake, e +e − annihilation must be described in terms of a single jet (and not two jets), the “soft” (small x) quanta of which are to be interpreted as backward moving quanta.
