Abstract
We investigate a strong coupling and half-filling Fermi–Hubbard model coupled to a cavity light field. Using a variational approach with coherent state ansatz, we identify the atom–hole pair condensation with the appearance of superradiance transition of the cavity light field. The mechanism that causes atom–hole pairs is analysed. By spin wave approximation, the phase transition at finite temperature is analysed.
