Abstract
In lattice Schrödinger picture, the wave functionals of a free real scalar field in de Sitter space for the Bunch–Davies vacuum and the corresponding excited states are given explicitly in momentum space for the following coupling cases: (i) massless conformal couplng, (ii) massless minimal coupling, and (iii) massive minimal coupling. Implications of these solutions for inflationary scenarios in cosmology are also discussed.
