Abstract

We have investigated the behavior of an electrically loaded thin rectangular asymmetric bimorph plate within the framework of the generalized Kirchhoff hypotheses. The solution has been obtained using the Laplace transformation in time with subsequent reduction of the problem to a Volterra integral equation. Based on the results of calculations, we have established the laws of deformation of a transducer depending on the configuration of the electric signal. We present also the procedure of solution of the inverse problem of determining the electric signal as a function of time, which provides the given law of motion of a certain point of the plate.
