Abstract

The paper deals with the problem of generation of seismic radiation during the motion of a fluid in the rock massive crack. As the reason for the occurrence of seismic vibrations, a process is considered in which the interaction of a fluid and a rock causes instability of the crack walls, which leads to self-oscillations. The mathematical model describing the given process is investigated. Conclusions are made about the conditions for the occurrence of oscillations in the flow of fluid through the crack and the characteristics of the generated seismic signal.
