Abstract
The relative cross sections and the polarization of the Balmer- alpha radiation in electron-hydrogen atom collisions were measured as a function of electron energy. The measured polarization fractions and relative differential cross sections of the Balmer- alpha line are plotted and used to calculate the relative total cross sections. (H.D.R.)
