Abstract

From new magnetization measurements and our previous thermal analysis on the first genuine organic ferromagnet, β-phase para-nitrophenyl nitronyl nitroxide (T c =0.6 K) , found in 1991, we have evaluated the variation of some dominant exchange interactions in this magnetic system in the course of a pressure-induced ferro- to antiferromagnetic transition (T c =0.45 K, P c =6.5 kbar) .
