Abstract

Electron paramagnetic resonance on paramagnetic Gd 3+ and Mn 2+ impurities is studied in nonmagnetic Kondo system CeCu 6 in the temperature range 1.6–200 K. Parameters of exchange interactions of gadolinium and manganese ions as also that of cerium ions with the conduction electrons and cerium–cerium exchange constant are determined. Temperature dependence of cerium spins fluctuation rate is deduced and the Kondo temperature of cerium ions is estimated.
