Abstract
Microcalorimetric measurements of excess molar enthalpies, at 298.15 K, are reported for the two ternary mixtures x 1CH 3CH 2OC(CH 3) 3+ x 2(CH 3) 3CCH 2CH(CH 3) 2+ x 3CH 3(CH 2) ν CH 3, where ν=5 and 6. Smooth representations of the results are presented and used to construct constant excess molar enthalpy contours on Roozeboom diagrams. It is shown that good estimates of the ternary enthalpies can be obtained from the Liebermann and Fried model, using only the physical properties of the components and their binary mixtures.
