Abstract

The excess molar enthalpies of (butan-2-ol + acetonitrile), (butan-2-ol + acetonitrile + benzene) at 298.15 K, and of (2-methylpropan-2-ol + acetonitrile or benzene), (acetonitrile + benzene), and (2-methylpropan-2-ol + acetonitrile + benzene) at 303.15 K have been measured with an isothermal dilution calorimeter. The experimental results are compared with those calculated from an association model based on mole-fraction statistics.
