Abstract

The excess molar enthalphy HEm of {xNH3 + (1 − x)C2H4}(g) has been determined as a function of temperature, pressure, and composition. The temperatures were 313.15 K and 333.15 K and pressures 0.81 MPa and 1.11 MPa. The excess molar heat capacities CEp,m and the excess molar isothermal Joule-Thomson coefficients фEJT,m have been calculated. The results are compared with those for (ammonia + argon),(1) (ammonia + nitrogen),(2) and (ammonia + methane),(2) reported previously.
